Katrina is a first year Ph.D. student in Clinical Science and Neuroscience under the mentorship of Dr. Krista Wisner. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 2020, where she majored in Psychology, minored in Mathematics, and completed a nexus certificate in Education. Before becoming a Ph.D. student at IUB, she studied Non-Suicidal Self-Injury (NSSI) with Dr. Jill Hooley at Harvard University, followed by a clinical research experience investigating psychotic and mood disorders at McLean Hospital with Dr. Kathryn Lewandowski and Dr. Michael Murphy.  

Katrina’s research interests revolve around trans-diagnostic research on psychopathology, more specifically, psychotic disorders, as well as the underlying  neural mechanism and interoceptive perspective (i.e., the physiological condition of the body).
