Alexandra was a graduate of the graduate program at Indiana University, under the primary mentorship of Dr. Hetrick.She obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience in June 2021, when she also completed her clinical internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Following a postdoc and Assistant Professor role at VUMC in the department of psychiatry, she is now Assistant Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences here at IU. She is the lead PI of the Motor Adaptations in Psychotic Disorders (MAPD) lab, embedded within the CCNC.
