Linnea is a first year graduate student, working towards Ph.D.s in Clinical Science and Neuroscience at IU. She graduated from University of California, Los Angeles in 2018 with her B.S. in Neuroscience. Following graduation, Linnea worked as a post-baccalaureate fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health in Dr. Allison Nugent's lab where she studied the neurological characteristics of reward response and depression using magnetoencephalography. During her time at IU, Linnea is interested in conducting translational research on the neurological deficits that occur in response to stress and trauma. Specifically, she aims to elucidate specific mechanistic changes occurring in hippocampal and cerebellar areas using both twin and animal models.
