John is currently on internship at the Minneapolis Veteran Affairs Health Care System (MVAHCS). At IU John used fMRI to investigate the neural correlates of risky decision-making and reward processing in clinical and non-clinical samples under the co-mentorship of William Hetrick and Joshua Brown. His research specifically focused on the cognitive and affective processes underlying the perception of risk and uncertainty, and their associations with decisions to pursue reward in schizophrenia-spectrum disorders. John will be pursuing research-oriented post-doctoral training in August 2022.
