Bess is the manager of the Bloomington CCNC lab location and coordinates studies for Dr. Hetrick and Dr. O’Donnell. Bess graduated in May 2020 from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. in Psychology and Minor in Human Development. As an undergraduate, Bess worked as a research assistant in Dr. Elizabeth Redcay's Developmental Social Cognitive Neuroscience Lab and as an intern at the National Insitute of Child Health and Human Development and the National Institute of Mental Health.

When not working, Bess enjoys weightlifting and yoga, going to concerts, watching true crime, and hiking with her dog!
